The third of the state series races is upon us for the year. This race is to be held on the 10th of May at Mundaring Wier. The race venue is located at the rear of the Perth Hills National Park Centre. This is a 45 minute drive from Perth, so please allow enough time to get there. The race will follow the same course as last year, as we are not allowed to alter the course. Could all riders and their support crew/fans/family note the following;
-When Parking the car, if you have to mount the kerb or drive on flora and funa then this is not a parking spot.
-This is a water catchment area, so no vehicles are to enter beyond the white gate where the race is to be held.
-No family pets are allowed.
-If you need to venture over to the Park Hills Centre, please leave your bikes behind as they are not permitted.
-The road entering the race area is to remain free from parked cars.
Please could you obey these few rules as it makes it easier for us to retain venues for future racing.
The race will start at 8.30 for the kids and 9.00 (approx) start for the rest. This race venue is one of the oldest and one of the favorite venues to race close to Perth. It is also being sponsored by one of Perth's, favorite bike shop - KALAMUNDA CYCLES, so when you break something on your bike or break your bike riding the track, go and see Jo and Tim Bennett at Kalamunda Cycles and support the bike shops that support the racing. Please dont forget to pre register online for the race.
This is a track we are not permitted to freely ride thoughout the year, so if you enjoy the course come out and ride it this Sunday.
