The race-track will be sent down one of the older tracks at Tom’s Crossing. It starts up at the usual starting area, but goes down the fire-road a little way before it drops into the trees and then sends you over a series of jumps (the 2nd can be used as a mini-whip to hip). Then your pedal down the track towards a log jump/rollover now you are pedalling toward the top of a well constructed rock garden. You need to choose your lines to hold as much speed as possible through the rock-garden that snakes slightly left, then back right and finally harder left. Once through that section you need to jump smoothly off a log or push into the hole. It is now only a short run-up to a built-up road gap which can be jumped or you can ride around it.
Now you ride a long off-camber strait section up to the next fire-road crossing which turns hard right and scoots over the road into another hard right that is followed by a tricky roll-over. Then the track darts down to the left through the trees and over a ski-jump. You land into a bermed right hander which sends you along another off-camber strait section where you need to launch a small log roll over and then lay the bike into a right-handed corner. Follow that at speed back up hill and then veer left and suck-up a few whoops before flying over top a large mound that leads strait into a super steep and rocky section. At the bottom, you take a hard right around a tree where you drop into a hole as you turn.
Next comes another off-camber section that is rocky and rough; you must get up high for the next sharp, off-camber corner that leads into a steep section that finally drops onto a third fire-road crossing. You pedal off the road to launch into a rocky & root infested section of track where you must negotiation some sharp switch backs before entering the grass-tree obstacle section. You take a hard right after the last grass-tree and line up a series of 3 steps that are best launched with speed. After landing in a loose gravely section you must attack a drifting right corner to get inside of a large tree; pass that and crank the pedals hard smash through a rough whoop and race toward the finish where you must launch a double log gap or hit a ski-jump on the right in order to fly past the finish line. This is a fast and technical track with a variety of obstacles and challenges to test you along the way.
