Rides in North Perth area

I have just recently settled in Darch and would like to know if there are any trails nearby?
I would also like to know if there is anyone willing to show me some of the trails regularly frequented by the MTB fraternity?

Darch (aka South Geraldton)
Darch (aka South Geraldton) is not known for its mountain biking. Best areas are out around Kalamunda and Mundaring or fuirther south to Jarrahdale and Dwellingup.
One good ride to try and make is the pizza run on a Friday night to see the best trails. Or get out to the Little OVens circuit on Mundaring Weir Road half way between Kalamunda and Mundaring Weir.

pizza run
This is an informal ride that happens roughly every second friday. It starts at Mundaring wier and rides up to Mt Gungin, then back down the Dell to the cars. Then we all drive to Little Ceasers in Mundaring for pizza. It is usually about 25km at a brisk pace (start at 6:30, at Little Ceasers at around 9).
They are organised by MeridaGreg, so keep your eyes peeled for posts from him.
