Whilst we're rebuilding, can I ask for a way to distinguish the "For Sale" forum from the "General" forum when a new post goes up?
In the previous incarnation of the forum, a new post would show up under the heading "Cross Country" or "Down Hill" and I never knew whether I was going to be opening an ad or some interesting news. That happened because both forums had sub-topics of Cross Country, Down Hill, etc.
I would like to suggest the "Cross Country" topic under "For Sale" be renamed to "For Sale - Cross Country" and similarly for the other sub-topics therein.
Cheers,
Graeme

confusion
I'm kinda confused. I don't mind renaming, but can you clarify where the ambiguity comes in? Where can you become aware of new posts that you can't see what forums they're in? (maybe you know something that i don't!!)
Also note that at the top of any forum page is an indication of where you are in the forum structure.
Old post now ....
With the wonderful job you've done in building this new forum, the issue has disappeared (is there a "sucking" emoticon? :D ). The confusion came about in the old forum when hitting the link entitled "View posts since last visit". The list of posts was not differentiated on which forum they were posted in - it would simply say "Cross country" or "Downhill" with no way of telling if it was an ad for someone's hand-me-downs or something genuinely interesting.
You may delete this thread entirely since you've eliminated the ambiguity in the way we get to see new posts. (Where the hell is that sucking emoticon .....)
Cheers,
Graeme
