Can the rumour of the state championship being moved from Nannup to Turner Hill be substantiated or left as just idle natter of exhausted mountain bikers??????
This weekends race will be a bit of a test for how the new track is for racing. Make sure you lets us know your thoughts after the race. We will vary the layout of the trail for the two separate races making sure there is more passing opportunities in the State Champs course (possibly including "The Hill").
But as I said at Marrinup there is about a 95% chance of the race moving and about a 99% chance that the 5% won't happen!
Nannup is too far, too hard to organise and too hard to get ready to ride on as if we clear the track there is no one riding it regularly to help keep it in good shape.
It will also mean, unfortunately that both races (at this stage) will be on the same day in two different locations. Not ideal for spectators but great for everyone racing.
