I've added the details under the trails section of the website. This is what I have written:
To get to Turner Hill from Perth drive down the South West Highway to North Dandalup. Turn left on to Del Park Rd to Dwellingup. The road climbs up the scarp and after about 10 kms you will see the Blue Munda Biddi Signs where the Munda Biddi crosses Del Park Rd. Slow down at this point ready to turn right in to Scarp Road (this may not be sign posted). Scarp road climbs slightly on gravel and you will see the Munda Biddi signs come and go along this road. You then turn left into Kessner Road and travel another 500m to the Gazebo which is on the left hand side of the road.
It will take about 90 minutes from the centre of Perth. It is well worth the trip and it is not far to head into Dwellingup for a feed before hitting Marinup for a lap or two as well.
OR - stop in at Keysbrook Store and order a Super Burger. Awesome. 7 and a half clams gets you a massive juicy patty and bacon and egg and salad - and i'm not talking lettuce and tomato, I'm talking lettuce and tomato and cucumber and capsicum and carrot and beetroot and TWO kinds of onion, cooked and raw, not to mention a slice of cheese on the top AND on the bottom.
Samuel L. Jackson would tell you "Mmmm!... This is a tasty burger!"
And all these years I've just been driving straight past in a rush to get back home. It sounds like the perfect combination of protein and carbs necessary for post race recovery. Looking forward to the end of next week's race. Hmmmm, burger.
Thanks for the initial details, if you don't mind I'll just ask one more thing...
Can you tell me how many laps are required for the under 15's and the under 13's (if there is any?) Thanks... Again any details will be much appreciated...
P.S. The burger sounds awesome and will suffice as an after race recovery meal quite nicely... mmmmmmm...
What better way to finish off sunday than with the Super Burger. Even torrential rain and coming dead last wouldnt spoil another ride on the awesome trail at Turner Hill. Something for everyone and if you havent done any laps or arent planning to race then YOU ARE MISSING OUT folks.
Few jumps to take old BMX bandits like me back a few years too. 8-)
This little secret stop is now out of the bag!! A hidden treasure for all these years. Let's hope the prices stay the same with the sudden influx of post-race hungry riders.
The $2.50 family sized, cooked as you ordered, (fat/chunky) chips-n-gravy at the old deli opposite the local supermarket in Dwellingup was a good stop. Although not as healthy, perfect after a cold wintery ride.

Sport A races seem to be about 24km in length of late so possibly 2 1/2 laps for Sport A ?????
Which would be awesome as we get to do 3 runs over the jumps on the back half.
hi, Sorry for the deley, I was having difficulty posting on the website. The Information is now on the front page. The course will be taped on Saturday.
After the storms last week a couple of us guys who call this track our 2nd home cleaned up fallen trees and branches to allow us to ride and for the safety of all others. I can only hope after all of the work that has gone into the track over the last few months everyone enjoys the track and all the best for those competing.

The Burgers at the Petrol
The Burgers at the Petrol Station in Dwelly are also very, very good.

Yowsers!
3 laps for Sport A and 3 laps for Vets too...were half laps too much of a technical difficulty?

The Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss
Starting Times
I noticed most categories start at 9AM. Is that a mass start at 9AM for everyone. Never been to a race before, how is the start determined ?
No mass start.
Hey Nate, each category is sent off in sequence, with the first category leaving at 9, and then a minute till the next category leaves, and so on.
At a glance, those lap counts do look excessive. 3 laps at Forsyth's compares to 3 laps at Turner Hill ?!
Could be worse.
Well I reckon 27km of Turner Hill beats 27km of the Goat Farm 8-).
The lap count will most
The lap count will most likely change for some of the categories. We will make very good use of the half lap for just about every category.
This is the best race course going around and is well worth doing no matter howmany laps you have to do. It will be great fun.
The race times will be
The race times will be changing to a 9am start for the kids, 930 for the other categories and then about 11am for the Elite and Expert categories.
The reason? I'm guessing a few people will be up late hopefully watching history being made. 30 minutes of extra sleep after that may help us all.
burger
I have to agree on the burger at keysbrook.
Lap Count
3 laps of the turner hill course for masters sounds about perfect
