Hey guys, am new to Perth - from NZ (yer, another kiwi) and heard Perth pumps for DH. Problem - never even tried it before!! I know, but any advice from anyone about anything would be awesome! Along the lines of best bike for beginner, tracks, best place to learn? etc etc

Any bike will do on your first few times but you will need a full face helmet and probably armor of some kind. If you have a hardtail great go in the hardtail class, tell the starter that your new and will need some time between you and the next rider and go for it.
This way you can have fun learn about the sport without shelling out heaps of coin.
