shimano lx crank

hey,
I bought a giant xtc 1 few months ago, two days ago I bought a pair of Funn Soljam Viper Sealed Bearing Pedals and they
have ripped the thread out of the crank. Does this happen often or is it a weak crank? Can anyone shed some light on my situation please

Only thing I could think of is that you tried to put the left or right peddle on the wrong side.
Depends which way you stand and look at your bike. Its not hard to get mixed up.
Apart from that, No cant help you.

But anyways if u didnt stack it u have either put the pedal in the wrong side or u have put the pedal in all skewered and it has shreaded ut thread
OR u have stacked it and moved the thread across the crank (thats what i did lol)

you cant put a pedal in the
putting a pedal in backwards wont do a thing they are the same thread pitch/size one is just reverse threaded, cranks are helicoiled so it sounds like that has just come out can happen on a crank with no pedal inserts if you dont use grease and dont treat the bike right
