How is Goat Farm these days

G'day,
I'm from Melb, and a few times last year i've come over with my DH rig to sample the Goat Farm Track; how is it going at the moment? Is it good condition? I've seen the development plans etc for the start area; has that been finished off?
P.S: I'm flying in again to Perth tomorrow night (on work, but don't tell the boss i'm bringing the rig), if anyone is keen to tee up a ride perhaps this coming Sunday at the Goat Farm, i'd be stoked to have a riding partner in relatively unfamiliar territory!

well, the toilets are finished, there is a shelter, and the carpark is complete but we still can't park in there.
The tracks are becoming rutted out but in my opinion it's all part of riding, and makes it more challenging. the state track is pretty good, the b-line through the rock garden has been added onto and im pretty sure the berm-gap is getting deceitfully bigger.
The snake line has stayed pretty much the same for the past year except for a few ruts here and there and the other quarry lines still get a run every now and then.
I dont know if i will be riding the goatfarm this weekend though but otherwise go up and find someone to talk to.

We went riding last year, I think it was about September-ish, could be wrong. My bike got stolen the day before you got here back around Xmas time.

Yer got your txt, thanks for that! Yeah would definately be awsome to catch up to bomb down some tracks. How is the bike going? or not? brakes are good. Just got a new set of hayes stroker carbons, so it would be good to see how they bed in.
Not sure what day i'm going to be free; either sunday or monday; not sure. i'll let you know when i fly in anyways.
Stoked to hear the toilets etc are up and running? Public access to carpark not allowed? why is it so?

Not sure why public access isn't allowed, I wouldn't be the one to ask.
The brakes comment was more because my brakes had to be sent off to be rebuilt, they were supposed to be back today, but I have been lacking in phone call from TBE saying they've been delivered back, so unless they get back tomorrow, looks like I wont be riding unless I'm braking the whole way down with my back foot (great modulation by the way, no lever fade!).
Sadly my fortnight off school comes to an end today, but I'm sure I can pull a sickie!
