Golden Grove

Does anyone know where the golden grove DH track is?

Any description like is it a turny track? a straight run down the hill? many jumps? steep, flat?

also some directions would be nice. someone to show me and a mate round would be even better.

Golden Grove

Golden Grove is a fair way along Chittering Road which is off Great Northern Highway (turnoff is near the Pearce airbase in Bullsbrook). It's on private property so you can't access it on days other than the race weekend. I'm pretty sure the track is changed each year and there unlikely to be any big jumps, but it can be made fairly steep in parts.

will it be easy enough to find race day? just drive along until you see a sign? anyone got any better info?

Turn right in Bullsbrook up

Turn right in Bullsbrook up Chittering Rd travel for about 14km it is on your right. Go over the bridge towards the shed and it is the hill right in front of you. It is a push up race and the tracks change every year. It is fun but a big walk. Thats DH :-)

The track is fresh, the lines are different and the rocks are every where. The walk to the top will kill the week and mould the strong.
but it will be worth every minute!

don't knock on deaths door, ring the bell and run, its more fun.

was cool

i am considering saying that i had a good day, the people were good, the track was awsome. and my tyres were not up to scratch. I had a pinch flat in each of my race runs, i just looked at the tube from my first one and it has two slits in it each about 1 inch long. so i suppose it is back to 2ply tyres for me and i might complete a run at the next race ;)
