hey does anyone know someone in PERTH or the southwest who does frame repairs?? ive found a small crack on the weld of my shock mount and warranty wont cover it cos it was in a race...

I wouldn't recommend welding frames at all. Once they are even slightly cracked they lose their structural integrity and can't take the level of abuse a DH bike needs to. I had a frame welded a few years ago and then had it snap completely in half mid race run!
