Meet at South Beach Cafe at 6:30pm then fang around Manning Park a couple of times dodging those big spiders that hang in the middle of the trails in the evening. Lights are helpful for spotting the spiders.

I should get up there myself before the weekend, probably Friday. The Manning Park ride will most likely be on next week too.

I swear I had some Double Gees in my front tyre but looked this morning and there is just a bit of mud stuck between my knobs.
Poor MIke I didn't envy him riding home on a patched tube with 10 of those things poking it.. eeek.
Watch for future punctures.

You may find the spikes are still in there. The bodies of the double-gees break off when you get on the road, leaving the pricks behind.

It was a pleasure, once we got into the rhythm of things. I have posted up next week's ride and linked a little map too. Looking at it reminded me of a fun section that we didn't do this week, I'll have to check it out in daylight for those pesky double-gees.
