Dwellingup Mass Group ride this weekend? With shuttles?

russthedog's picture

Hi Guys,

The State DH Round in Geraldton has been cancelled! It looks like now the long weekend race will be held in Dwellingup instead of in Geraldton.

This weekends race in Dwellingup has also been cancelled, but if we can get enough people there it will still be worth our while - we can still run shuttles if we have enough interested. We can head there as a group on Saturday, run shuttles all afternoon; camp out that night and then run shuttles all Sunday as well. If you could reply telling me you are interested, I will organise it depending on the response.

I would need at least a couple more people (with drivers licences!) to make shuttling worthwhile.

If you can add to this list let me know - Albany Cycling Clubs trailer can take 16 bikes and it will mean a great day out if enough people are keen!

Cheers,

Sam

maybe

Hey, i have work on saturday but would really like to run dwelli as i just got my DH bike set up.

problem: only 15 and parents arent willing to drive me down there as it is not an official race

i realise the slim chances of getting down there but it would be really cool.

Where abouts are you located? I was wondering if someone could rive me down, willing to pay for fuel, plus a little somesin somesin for the effort/carspace taken up by bike and gear.

I live in Guildford, and have work saturday, which i might be able to weasel out of, but am willing to jump on the train with all my shit after work and meet somewhere if needs be.

Also, if youd like to shoot me a message, im on 0439 520 212.

Thanks, geoff.

Yeah I would be interested,

Thunderbirds are go!

Well from the response I think its defintely going to go ahead - unless something terrible happens. We'll take the Albany Cycling Clubs shuttle, Housey said he may take PDMBC shuttle trailer as well.
We will be there early afternoon with the shuttle trailer. Expect to pay a small fee just to cover the cost of fuel of the shuttle car (say around $10).
See you all there.
