Trails - XC Race Tracks

There's a page with info about Turner Hill on our site: http://perthmtb.com/node/207 (you can check all the trails info we have in the menu on the left there).
There's a link to Google Maps which shows you where Turner Hill is; you can suss how to get there from Perth with that.

No DH track at Turner Hill, but there are a couple of fun 'freeridy' sections which break up the plain ol' single track!

Turner Hill

Hi I ride a group of guys at Turner Hill regularly and if you are comming from Perth (3kms before you get to Pinjarra) Via Armadale turn Left onto Alcoa drive turn left (4kms approx) onto North Spur rd up the hill past the Alcoa lookout and approx 1km on, turn left (Turner Hill MTB trail signposted) onto Scarp rd (gravel). Turn right at Y intersection (approx 3kms) caution this is the MUNDABIDI TRAIL and about 500mtrs on turn left and stop at the shelter no toilets yet start point on the left track and run clockwise. The track has changed from what is advertised and mapped at the moment including the map in one of the latest MTB books but easy to follow. A couple of tips 1 Turn right on the fire trail after the climb about the 4 km mark follow the fire trail (cross over the old turner hill climb fire trail) turn left at the tree stump. 2 Turn right on the fire trail and follow for 50 mtrs turn right off the trail onto single track and the rest is easy to follow. The track is mostly packed but there are a few sections of soft pea gravel for tyre choice. Approx 10kms in distance now and 16kms or 4kms depending on how you use the shortened 4 km loop. Not to sure about the down hill track there I have only been riding since December. The Marrinup track is about 7kms long and about 15kms from Turner Hill and a lot flatter and faster. Hope this helps.
