Perth Mountain Bike Club

The three ways to enter races are described below.

If you haven't raced before, $5 will be charged for a plate, which you can pick up from the registration tent before the race. Plates can be used at any Perth, Peel or South West MTB race in 2009.

If you are not a member of MTBA, you will need to pay an additional $15 for a day membership. (Being a member of PMBC makes you a member of MTBA.)

For new memberships or renewals you will need to bring a filled in form to the race (or mail it in to PMBC). The membership for is at http://perthmtb.com/files/pmbcmembership09.pdf.

1. Online

You can choose to pay via credit card online or alternatively choose to "pay on day". This helps reduce the time needed for registration in the morning and can mean racing can start earlier. Go to the links below for the race you want to enter.

Online XC entries close at 3am on Saturday morning (if Sunday is race day, otherwise day before the race), but for Downhill Online will close earlier because we need to travel to destinations and get the rego before we leave; so online DH rego will close 3:00am Thursday night the week of the Sunday race.

If you have recently joined but haven't received your MTBA number and card, type in 9999 as your membership number. The club will have a list of MTBA members and will check who is a current member so don't think you can avoid the $15 day membership fee. Online rego closes midnight on the Friday before the race. Also suggest bringing a copy of your online registration (paid or pay on day) as this will speed up registration.

2. By Mail.

Download and fill in the XC or DH entry form below. If you are not a MTBA member you should also download and fill in the Day Membership Form. Mail the entry form and day membership form with a cheque or Aust Post money order to (do not send to MTBA):

3. On the Day

This may not necessarily be available, please check the Race Announcements page to see if you can enter on the day. If it is available, it will save you time if you download the forms and fill them in beforehand, or better still, register online and choose the "pay on day" option. There may be an additional late entry fee involved.
